The following conditions apply to purchases made on VeloChicks.com.

Delivery

Velochicks.com offer free domestic shipping in Denmark on orders above 499 DKK. Shipping costs for orders below this amount start at 39.99 DKK, depending on the selected delivery method.

VeloChicks allow you to choose your preferred carrier, which means that you can choose between PostNord, GLS and other carriers during checkout. This selection determines the shipping costs, why it is important to check your entered information and shipping method.


Delivery time

Delivery time depends on your selected carrier, but no delivery is expected to take more than five working days. Exceptions will be indicated on the individual item. For orders placed before 15:00, we strive to dispatch your goods on the same day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched the following working day.


International deliveries

VeloChicks offer delivery to a number of other countries. Delivery costs start from 12 EUR, depending on destination country. Delivery time will vary from country to country, but we strive to deliver all goods within seven working days from order placement.

We currently ship to the countries listed below and at the cited prices. If your country is not included in the list, you are welcome to contact our customer service to check whether we can find an alternate solution for you.

Payment

You can pay for your order using the most common payment cards and MobilePay. All prices are listed in Euros, and local tax (VAT) applicable duties are included in the prices. We reserve the right to cancel orders due to sold out items, incorrect prices and erroneously listed goods.

Upon order placement, you will receive an email with your order confirmation. The payment will not be withdrawn from your account before we pack/dispatch your goods. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase goods from VeloChicks. Customers below this age will only be allowed to purchase goods with the acceptance from their guardian or if they possess another legal right allowing them to effect a purchase.

VeloChicks use an approved payment server, using which all card information is encrypted with SSL protocols. This serves as your guarantee for a secure purchase.

 

Exchange

If you wish to exchange an item, we kindly request you to send our customer service an e-mail mentioning the order number and the item that you want to exchange. VeloChicks will exchange the delivered item to another item, and additional payment, if relevant, can be made with credit card or MobilePay. If you exchange to a cheaper item, we will reimburse the surplus balance to your account, when VeloChicks receive the exchanged item.

Cancellation terms

You can cancel your purchase within 14 days from the day on which you receive your order. Within this time frame, you can also get a refund of the purchase amount without further explanation. However, you must pay for the shipment costs for returning the item to us.

To cancel your purchase, you must notify VeloChicks no later than 14 days after you have received your order. Cancellations are to be submitted by mail to info@velochicks.com, where you clearly state that you want to make use of your cancellation right.

In order to return an item and get a refund, you must return the item in the same condition as it was delivered. You are allowed to try on the item, but not to start using it. All original tags and labels must remain on the item, and it must be returned with the original packing. The item should be returned to VeloChicks as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you want to return the item.

Returned items must be packed in a secure and protected way. Remember to get a receipt from your carrier, as you are responsible for the item until it is received by VeloChicks. Please note that VeloChicks do not receive goods sent COD/cash on delivery.

If you forget to pick up your order from a collection point, this will act as a cancellation of your purchase. Consequently, the return shipping costs covered by VeloChicks will be deducted from your purchase amount before we reimburse the remaining balance.

Please send us an email and tell us that you want to return your item and cancel your purchase, before you ship the item back to us.

You will receive a confirmation from us, as soon as we receive the returned item. We will then check the item and subsequently reimburse your money. Please note that unless otherwise has been agreed with VeloChicks, we will return the order amount to the same means of payment as applied upon initial purchase.

PLEASE NOTE:

You can lose your purchase amount completely or partially. This will happen if the value of the returned item is reduced, typically if:

  • The item has been taken into use
  • The item has been damaged while in your possession
  • You have handled the item in another way than necessary for you to assess the type, quality and characteristics of the item and the way it works

We will only reimburse up to 50% of the initial purchase price, if you have started to use the item before deciding to return it. This is due to the fact that used or second-hand cycling gear and clothing generally sells for less than half of the retail price.

Claims

The Danish Sale of Goods Act ensure buyers a two-year warranty, which can be invoked in case of defects in the materials and/or production.

The warranty does not cover defects or damage incurred by incorrect use of the product, nor does it apply to wear and tear from regular use of clothes.

The warranty can only be invoked for defects present at the time of purchase.

If you find any defects or deficiencies on your item, you must contact VeloChicks within reasonable time from discovering the defect. Deferring to report the defect may entail that you lose your right to have the defect rectified. When contacting us, we kindly request you to be as specific as possible when describing the defect. Please also include one or more pictures.

VeloChicks will cover the return shipping fees for just complaints. Initially, we ask that you return the item to us and cover the shipping costs on your own. Once we can confirm the defect by personal inspection, we will reimburse the shipping costs. Thus, remember to get a receipt for paid shipping costs from your carrier.

Returned items must be packed in a secure and protected way. Remember to get a receipt from your carrier, as you are responsible for the item until it is received by VeloChicks. Please note that VeloChicks do not receive goods sent COD/cash on delivery.

Please send us an email before returning the faulty item to us.

Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with items purchased from VeloChicks or the service we provide, we will make an effort to solve this in all friendliness. However, if this fails, you have the right to lodge your compliant to the Danish complaints board for consumers. You can launch your complaint online via the website of the complaints board.

 

Protection of personal information

All information provided to VeloChicks will be processed confidentially. At no point will information supplied to VeloChicks be passed on to any third parties.

Placing an order entails that you must supply us with your name, address, phone number and e-mail. This information is exclusively used for processing your order.

You can always get a copy of the information which VeloChicks have about you. To do so, please send us an email with your name and address. You will receive the requested information within 48 hours. Subsequently, if you wish to have the information deleted, this is naturally something that we will take care of.

 

Cookies

The VeloChicks.com web shop uses cookies, which are small text files stored on your computer. It is not possible for the web shop to function without these cookies: They are used for remembering which items you have placed in your basket, as you move around the web shop.

This entails that you will not be able to use our web shop, if you have deactivated cookies.

Furthermore, VeloChicks also use cookies to collect information anonymously about visitor behaviour in order to improve the user-friendliness of the site and target the content.
